The race I was going to run that re-clipped track in got canceled today.

"Scheduling conflicts"

Grrrr.

bummer, that sounds like a fun series.

is Pine Lake cancelled?  just looked at the COR schedule earlier this afternoon and haven't spent much time on FB lately, because it's Facebook... https://corpowersports.com/schedule/  :dunno:

Pine Lake is no longer associated with any sanctioning body other then ISR.  It is an independent race again.

are they having it?  just looked on Herf's and COR's FB page and nuthin'?

that's been the XC season kick off as long as I've been back...

they are having it. They are doing a 25 year race with top pros from that era running the same sleds they raced back then. Should be a lot of fun racing there

Think we are going up there Friday night and Saturday to put some miles on.

@airflite1 should have me at the track ready to practice by 9am... please be sure to have my Tekvest properly warmed and a fresh battery ready to go for the laptop.  ;)

Yep, picked it up locally last winter. Perfect size for him.

Those light and simple sleds were wonderful.  He's a lucky kid.    I was looking for a little fanner for our daughter a few years ago... but sledding's not her thing.  Found a minty Z 440, then learned you can't get pistons, almost bought it for myself to play with but instead spent the FU$ on an engine that winter.  :)

Another test and tune session tonight.  Making progress, it's finally ripping.  For a while I was extremely close to scrapping it and putting the old motor back in

Joe is making pistons for them. I think he has them in stock now.
