They don’t necessarily mutate trying to survive, these types of viruses are just always mutating.  It’s the ones that can survive in their environment that become the dominant strain simply because they can reproduce. We deal with a similar phenomenon in plant pathogens. 

is the delta variant taking over because of vaccines? Scientifically possible. And note they say it’s more contagious which most often means it’s overall a milder illness.

A is by far the dominant strain, say 97% of the problem. B is 2% and C is 1%
 

so you develop a treatment that is 99% effective on strain A, 90% effective on strain B and 10% effective on strain C

This is considered a big success because clearly strain A is the major problem 

but what happens over time is strain A fades out due to your effective treatment, and infections plummet. However, you still have some small issues with strain B, but all of a sudden here comes strain C multiplying  like crazy because nothing is standing in its way.

Yep.  The influenza strains mutate every year.  No matter how the “vaccine” for it is  modified, people with compromised systems will still contract the flu and die.  Usually, due to other ailments and underlying problems….JUST LIKE……..unmmm…..  KOIVYD!

Just talked to a friend, who refused to get the Vax.  Her husband is over the top about getting Vaxed, so he made her do it 3 weeks ago.  Today?  Positive Covid Test.  Now, her symptoms are fairly mild, like a sinus infection with a slight head ache, but still, positive.  Can she pass it on to others?  She will find out, because she is not telling her husband she has a positive test.  

All these silly games people are playing, just to feel good about themselves.  The nonsense has to stop.
