Late stage capitalism

No one should be forced to choose between wage slavery and starvation.

Your right, who forces anyone?  If you want to eat, you can work for wages and buy your food, or you can grow it yourself.  No one is forcing anything.

See, not a hard concept to grasp.  Do you have employees that you "force" to work?

I mean, you've singlehandedly solved world hunger.

So if everyone chooses to be a lazy ass and do nothing, relying on others to provide food for them, they will all starve since there won't be anyone to provide that food. You are ENTITLED to nothing. You want food and a roof over your head, work to earn it.

It's nice to believe in communism, yet use capitalism for yourself.  Classic

Communism will never work here period. There isn't any incentive for anyone to work hard, be successful and prosperous if they have to give away the rewards of their efforts to a lazy ass so that they both are able to sustain the same lifestyle.

I drive a new top of the line pickup and the lazy ass has a 25 year old broke down piece of crap. I'm not going to give up what I have earned so we can both drive a 10 year old basic vehicle. Not going to happen.

You want that new truck, get off your ass and earn it.

You don't do well with these hypotheticals.

Probably should just stick to coloring.

Your hypotheticals are from la la land and just are the lunatic dreams of an idiot.

So, Dan, have you ever experienced Communism?  I say probably not, but I have.  My family took a summer trip to Europe for a month after my first year in college - 1984.  On our trip, we took a tour of the Soviet Union for a little over 2 weeks.  We entered the Soviet Union through Finland and headed to Leningrad (St. Petersburg) for a few days.  After the stay there, we went to Moscow and later back through Poland (Auschwitz is a place I will never forget) and East Germany.  It was very eye-opening.  I had a great time, but I can tell you from experience that communism does not work!  The work force is pure shit!  There is NO quality of workmanship anywhere! Shit was run-down before it was even finished.  You can't even begin to imagine how poor the work force is in that system.  The ONLY thing they ever did well was: every family was allowed a small plot of land (the size of your pickup) to make a garden.  They were excellent as they made them for themselves. Businesses that were supposed to be open at 8:30 or 9:00 weren't open until 10:30 or so because the workers simply didn't give a shit. The quality of craftsmanship in every item I saw or place I visited was pure shit.  No PRIDE on one's work at all.  There was no reason for it as extra effort got you nothing in life there.  You simply can't imagine how poor your workforce is when you take the incentives out.  :bc:

The USSR wasn't communism, it was state socialism on its best day, state capitalism the rest of the time.

Communism is a stateless, classless society. How many times do I need to say it?

Why would you want a stateless, classless society unless you are at the bottom now, which I don't believe you are?  You don't want people to be able to propel themselves to higher levels based on their skill and/or knowledge?  You would want a ditch-digger performing eye surgery on you if you got hurt etc?  People are not equal.  That's the reality of life.  Some people have abilities that others do not.

Again, you demonstrate a severe lack of knowledge around the subject, and you're just making assumptions based on a faulty premise that stems from this lack of knowledge.

I admit I don't know what you are really getting at.  I would like to know where you are coming from.  Please describe your idea of the perfect society as I would find it interesting. I'm too far away to sit down with you and listen over a beer.  :bc:
