Probably.  Just have to give that team credit though for only being around for 2 years and being a 2 car team the cars seem to be running up front every week.  Nice to see new owners having success just hope it lasts.

You have to wonder if they would have found the same issue on the other Toyota teams.  During the post race inspection when they pull the wrap back is when they found the wrong material.  They always do a post race inspection on the top 5 and do 1 or 2 random cars.  A nascar inspector stays with the car as soon as it comes off the track and done with post race inspection.

Agreed with Track house's success. Ross did a great job with his interview after the wreck. He will settle in at some point and race how he wants to be raced.

Interesting with Hamlin and Busch getting DQ'ed that brought Christofer Bell up to 4th.  He would have not been in the original top 5 to go through post race inspection so was his car legal.

I would suspect they closed up the inlet on the front ballast to add down force to the front.

Rules are rules but you hate to see a small team like this take a hit.

JGR actually got off easier being DQ'ed.  If they would have caught that at the RD center it should have costed them the 100 driver and owner points plus the 100k for each team.

It was late yesterday afternoon when Red Farmer made good on his promise.
The longtime Hueytown, AL resident packed up his race car and his trailer and headed to the Talladega Short Track.
It was a promise he made to himself after nearly dying in late May.

It was May 25th when Red, who will turn 90 come October 15th, was admitted to the hospital with double pneumonia and a dangerous infection.
The dream of racing again may have kept Red alive.

Red Farmer is thought to be the world’s oldest active race car driver- he’s been racing for 76 years.
Red has survived numerous crashes, including the helicopter crash that took Davey Allison’s life in 1993.

Down through the years, Red has been a true light, as his humor and spirit may be among the best.

So it was fitting that last night, Red headed to the Talladega Short Track, his favorite place in the world, fulfilling his promise to return to racing.

A promise that just may have saved his life.

Didn't his hauler and car get destroyed from a hurricane a few years ago?

My dad went to Talladega a couple times in the early 70's and went through some of the teams shops.  It was nothing compared to what they are now but they stopped at Red Farmer's 2 stall shop.  He had an engine on a cart with rollers on that they strapped to the floor.  Said if it started and had oil pressure it was good to go.

Twas a whole lot different back then.

Hell, even in the 90's.

A few friends of mine race late models and their shops put NASCAR shops from the 80's to shame.

Kurt Busch not cleared to race this weekend…hopefully this isn’t what ends his driving career.

Tye Gibbs is in the car this weekend again

This morning @IMS had a photo with as many Indy 500 and Brickyard winners as they could get. There are 44 Indy wins among these 22 drivers

Our crew is working the race.  One text me before that there was more people on the start finish line for past champions than there is in the stands for the Xfinity race.

Well that stinks especially considering that the Indycar race preceded it.

Just my opinion but Indy has never been a good race.  I worked the race when they had the tire issue and only ran think it was 6 to 10 laps and they had to come in for tires.  Last year the turtles were coming up in some of the corners and damaging the cars.

The 24's hauler William Byron's started on fire in the staging area before the teams pulled into the pits.  Started in by the generator.  They sent for another hauler because of the smoke damage but the cars are OK.

There is talk that that may go back to the oval with the Cup Cars…not next year but maybe in ‘24.
