The virus is serious and should be taken as such however I think its being overstated here and some other places.

China is a different story than here from living quarters to eating habits.

We'll find out soon how serious it is.

I think China knows exactly what the virus is, & hence the biggest quarantine in the history of the world.

We'll never get the truth out of China.

Not enough

Its amusing how you and ginger talk about how many people should die.   God forbid it hits you close to home.

Seattle-area officials report 3 new coronavirus deaths, bringing US total to 5

Listening to CNBC over lunch and there is a new WW mortality rate being given at .4-.7.   Can't find it when I google it.

That's good news if true ...!

From WHO today ...

"This virus is not influenza. We have never before seen a pathogen that can transfer between individuals [so easily]."

You can’t find it because it’s not true. Mortality rate has already been established at 2%

Let's exclude anyone over 75 in the stat.

Also, not include anybody in the 3rd world countries or China.  I mean, dipshit Cuomo was on TV saying that this morning.  Spinner should trust him.  He's one of his own!

Probably just repeating what was said on CNBC.   Surprised me as well.

Dow sure has changed its tune.

The dow always changes its tune.

It wouldn't have without something a bit positive regarding the virus.  Not to the extent it did today.

I don’t think the drop was due to the virus. Not completely.
