f7ben
I was mistaken in posting the ctec topic The owner asked me to rebuild the sled yesterday and the guys I was riding with told me it was a 17 which I mistakenly assumed was early ctec i just texted Matt back and in fact the sled is a 2016 with only 1400 miles im curious as to what the culprit could be here. It’s locked up tight
Rod
That be the Suzuki mill. Ordinarily bulletproof ive only seen two things kill them. Cold seize or once seen the rod fall off the oil pump

Cold seize or once seen the rod fall off the oil pump I’m going to have to figure out why it went down. Matt is an experienced rider and wouldn’t cold seize a sled. He’s also a mechanic and the only reason he’s giving me the sled to fix is he’s working 7 days a week midnights

teamgreen02
The bad part is some of those parts are getting hard to find OEM Suzuki. Head orings were backordered and I believe pistons too. Country Cat has new cranks for $500 if you need one.

Zambroski
Hearing about a 800 zook going down is almost like hearing about a big foot sighting. I’m betting it’s oil pump/purge related. Still rare but...it’s gotta be something.
