It happened before and it will happen again. We will break high/low temp and wet/dry precipitation records and it has happened since these records started being recorded. It's nothing special, out of the ordinary or caused by anything man has done or can control. The town is built out of unstable dirt and wooden pilings dumped on top of silt. The entire town is under a constant state of repair trying to ensure the pilings and dirt dont sink into the ocean.
