so you don't know what a STATE VISIT is -  one day I can explain to you how it works

That is an itinerary you have posted, not what was said and done at meetings - but carry on with you anti canadian posts

since you ignored the last link here is another

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/pulse-producers-india-restriction-1.4426855

I know you don't care about Farmers as this is clear as you ignore their issues with India

Stupid stupid Fail... lots of meetings at the Taj Mahal, the mosques, the temples and all the other touristy stuff. :lol:Must be very productive meetings with Sophie and the kids sitting there with him at the mosque. What a fool.

Read your own article that you posted Fail... where does it say this is a focus of Trudopes trip to India... oh that's right... it doesn't.

The Government of Canada is accusing India of "applying discriminatory treatment to Canada" because India has not extended its waiver allowing Canadian pulse exports into the country without a required pest treatment.

You want to bet that the required pest treatment doesn't even come up when he meets the Indian PM on Friday. The one real day of "business" It's also not farmers in general as you eluded. It's a particular group of pulse farmers in Saskatchewan.

Grasping at straws as usual Fail to try and prove you don't pull this stuff out of your imagination.

As for a state visit... he's been snubbed at a number of Indian government levels already.

I tip and tip well. very well when the service has been very good.

Too bad you penny pinching cheapskate can't say the same.

Obviously you are all in favour of the tax cheats not paying income tax on their tips. After all you go to the backyard mechanic so you can avoid paying taxes and the backyard mechanic avoids paying his taxes as well.

Cheap SOB that you are.

read up on what a STATE VISIT is, red carpet treatment

you are not that smart on these topics it seems -  when you decide to stop bashing Canada and its Farmers try reading instead of cherry picking

"The pest they want us to fumigate for doesn't exist in Canada, and the chemical that you have to use to kill them is illegal in Canada. That's our problem."

Canadian export of pulses to India was worth over $1.1 billion in 2016, with almost all of that coming from Saskatchewan.  02SLED SAYS THESE FARMERS DONT MATTER

About 20,000 people are expected to attend the 35th annual edition of the Western Canadian Crop Production Show in Saskatoon this week as farmers look for ways to get around the massive hit from India's tariff on pea imports.

India's decision last year to impose a 50-per-cent tariff on pea imports - DECEMBER

Canada is India's largest supplier of peas, chickpeas and lentils — with about half of production coming from Saskatchewan farms.

The most recent extension expired on Sept. 30, and this is the first time Canada has not been granted the extension since 2004.

keep up the good reporting 02sled

Still doesn't change the fact that the vast majority of the trip is touristy vacation rather than business no matter what you want to say. I still say Trudope doesn't say a word about the farmers when he meets with the PM of India.

I'm not bashing farmers Fail. More things you dream up in your imagination to deflect from your being wrong about the nature of Trudope's visit. As for the red carpet... :lol:There are countless articles and clips on how Trudope and his family are being snubbed / ignored by the Indian government officials. These are just a few. Seems the shiny pony isn't as popular as you seem to believe through your bromance coloured glasses.

Your wife must be jealous of your bromance with Trudope.

And the 750 mi we invested in India was a done deal prior to visit. And this douchebag is all over the media tooting his horn.

He could teach a course on taking selfies.

Something tells me Trudope wasn't invited to India, he likely told them he was coming and when. Don't these types of visits usually occur when the individuals are invited.

This seems a lot like having people show up at your cottage unexpectedly during a summer heat wave.

I'm pretty sure in most state visits regardless of which countries are involved, official business/dialogue comes before the 'sightseeing'. A cynical comment on the TV last night was that the trip's intention was more for the sub-Asian diaspora in Canada rather than actual trade between the 2 countries. "Look at me, I know what it's like to be an Indian because I visited there". Unfortunately the lemmings in that community will probably fall for it.

Someone on the news was trying to downplay Modi not greeting Sock Boy on his arrival. The report then went on to say that Modi recently met Netanyahu upon his arrival in India.

Maybe their protocol states that a 'junior' PM rates a junior minister. The Indians see Trudeau for what he is, a lightweight.

The Indian PM truly is giving Trudope a snub that even Trudope must recognize. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi routinely lands up at the airport to receive world dignitaries. From the moment a world leader sets foot on Indian soil, Modi’s photo ops begin.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/global-opinions/wp/2018/02/20/why-india-is-being-really-rude-to-justin-trudeau/?utm_term=.477de22fb243

Who can forget the famous Modi hug reserved for world leaders? No hug for Trudope at the airport from the PM like all others who have arrived before him. He got met by a junior Agriculture Minister. Modi hasn’t even welcomed Trudeau to India on Twitter

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/01/25/narendra-modi-wont-stop-hugging-world-leaders-no-matter-how-awkward-it-is/?utm_term=.706b3843e342

The beautiful, photogenic Trudeaus went to see the Taj Mahal in Agra, where they were welcomed not by the provincial chief minister, not even a junior minister, but by district officials.

Kind of like oh the President of France arriving at Pearson and being met by John Tory.

Modi often likes to take visiting dignitaries to Ahmedabad in Gujarat, his home state. Many good visuals have been produced in Gujarat with Modi showing world leaders around Mahatma Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram or just taking them around the city. But the Trudeaus had to go alone to Gujarat.

Poor shiny pony must be sobbing when he gets back to the hotel at night. They aren't bending down to worship him.

Fail has blocked that link. It's behind a paywall.

:lol:You get to read the headline and then the pop up comes out.... Fail would say it is all a lie and anti-Canadian. Don't forget he is far more knowledgeable about all things financial than those experts who study and work in the world of finance. Their jobs depend on their expertise.

The ones with the best track records don't make market predictions, yet focus on picking the best companies and holding them until their time is up.  That is why I'm overweight in go anywhere Global Equities.  Having most of you eggs invested in Canada has not been wise move.
