A lot of these ships picked up product at ports in SA,so I would rule them out. They aren’t going to risk shutting down there ports. You have to look at what the ship was carrying, where the load was going, who owns the Ship and who’s flag is flown on the ship. These attacks effect every port in the region. Shipping costs will go through the roof now. Some ships owners won’t allow their ships in the region and some won’t be able to get insurance to operate in the region. Who is funding these attack’s is the big question. I doubt it’s any country in the gulf with a shipping port. They only have one industry over there and that’s oil. It effects all of them if shipping gets disrupted. You could make a ton of money right now,if you were a SO diver doing hull inspections before they leave port. Back when I was over there, the only ships being attacked had Iraq oil in them or flying a Iraq or Kuwait flag. So who would have an interest in keeping ships from hauling Iranian oil? Iran?
