racer254
Jefferson County Parks Receive Grant from WisDOT September 28, 2018 | by Gary Douglas The Jefferson County Parks Department has been awarded a grant totaling $1,102,840 from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). The grant will be used to help build the Interurban Transportation Trail, a multi-use non-motorized trail that will connect the City of Watertown with the City of Oconomowoc. The trail will be located on the old Interurban Electric Railway, which at one time connected Milwaukee and Watertown. The line is now owned by We Energies, who has partnered with Jefferson County to make the project possible. Total trail length is approximately 11 miles. The WisDOT award is part of the 2018-2022 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). Examples of eligible TAP infrastructure projects include sidewalks, pedestrian amenities and wayfinding, bike lanes, bike parking, and bike share systems, all meant to improve safety for pedestrians and bicyclists. Please contact the Jefferson County Parks Department at jeffcoparks@jeffersoncountywi.gov or 920-674-7260 for more information.

Legend
All these faggots bitching about how the WI roads are falling apart, but yet WI roads are some of the best around. Ive been all over in the Northeast, Midwest, and Inner mtn states all in the last 9 months, and I have yet to find better roads than in WI. But we should elect a D governor in WI to fix the roads......

Y'all move here, then complain that the roads are too "unmaintained" for your eco friendly, no ground clearance, plugged in, fuck fuck cars. Then try to convince us that highways are more fun to drive than back roads.

I realize this might be way outside your mental capacities......but businesses and the communities they are in need to provide a variety of quality amenities in order to attract top professionals. Low life’s like you are not the type of people quality communities focus on attracting. However investment in quality of life amenities are what those of us with choices consider when deciding where to locate and provide the community with future tax revenues.
