Something to consider on Kavanaugh accusers.

What legal ramifications do they face?

My point is there is no way for anyone to prove they are lying beyond what the so called witness' have already done.   There haven't provided enough information to be proven wrong.   No dates, locations just vagueness.  There simply is zero evidence beyond testimony on an extremely sensitive topic.

Even if they are proven liars they will not be prosecuted .   We do not punish women who lie about rape or abuse. No one has the balls to do it. If it keeps one victim from coming forward it is not worth the risk. Just the way it is.

I agree,  not too much can happen to them. I don't even think they can be sued civilly.

It's all orchestrated by their dem lawyers as a smear campaign, with no risk.

They can be sued but try to find a lawyer who will take a case suing someone who dosnt have much cash or liguid assets.

You'd have to prove defamation of character. Whereas the bitches are simply saying what they re-call, how do you prove intentional defamation?

PUBLIC FIGURES do not have the protections of private persons, unfortunately.

On top of that who wants to go after them and how that makes you look.   Surely not a SC justice if confirmed.

I'll give the dems credit.   They played this one well.   Been planning it since Gorsuch.

Bill Cosby was targeted too. Right?

Yeah cause the evidence is similar right?

Cosby also admitted to a "consensual" relationship with them as well.

Comparing the 2 is ridiculous.

Considering the defenders of Cosby among certain members, it’s totally relevant.

  Because someone on here defended Cosby?

Evidence vs No evidence.

No political motivation vs political motivation.

Accuser Julie Swetnick claims Kavanaugh and friends drugged and gang raped high school girls at parties she attended TEN TIMES, why would she who was a College student at the time attend parties for minor High School students and then watch rapes happening as she came back TEN TIMES to watch the rapes??? What a lying loser.

Late Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported that approximately 10 years ago, Swetnick retained the law firm of Katz, Marshall & Banks to represent her in dispute with her former employer, insurance company New York Life, over a sexual harassment complaint Swetnick had brought.
