Yeah, you guys are right, that 7.3 is a good motor really. Certainly the most desired out of all the powerstrokes. Even the non-turbo'd early ones you just couldn't kill. But compared to the 12 valve, what a bitch to work on. Fucking worthless high pressure oil pump, injector wires incorporated into the valve cover gasket, and fierce expensive injectors to replace. Just turned 310,000 Kms on my POS 6.0. As bad as the rep is on the 6.0, mine's been a pretty descent mill. 3 injectors and 1 FICM, a set of tubes and a y pipe.
