Trump's visa changes are clawing a famous crab town. And they voted for him.

Many of these dudes never had any structure or even a reason to get up in the AM. To just warehouse them and then release them thinking they will turn it around on their own is ridiculous.

Prison is nothing structure and being told when to get up.

Thats how you look at it?   Well maybe if they paid more like many of us they would find workers too.   I think I proved with other articles where they paid them 3-4 dollars an hour less what its all about.

Harvest time should be interesting in the fruit and vegetable fields this year.

For sure. All these faggots complaining about how much a cheeseburger will cost at $15 an hour might get real pissed when their produce prices double.

I'm thinking that the fruit and veggie farmers might get pissed to, but that's OK Trump will blame Obama and that will be that

Low level, low threat offenders in jail should be used to fill these vacancies.  The crab processors/pickers can then pay the prison system for the labor provided to help off set the cost of incarceration funded by tax payers.  This way prisoners wouldnt be taking Jobs from Americans cause Americans would not take those jobs anyways as proof by the need for visas.  Also if it is a shitty job it may serve as a deterrent to repeat offenders that have the threat of having to work a shitty job while incarcerated.  Also some may find a new profession and establish the feeling of self worth and accomplishment!

Agree 100%, this should be happening all over the country.

Institutional slavery! Great fucking idea!

It is an outstanding idea, far better than taxpayers (good Americans) paying for the prison system. It could teach them a lesson....if you don't want to go to prison to work for free then don't commit the crime. Because at the end of the day, I'd much rather see the bad people be the slaves instead of the good people (taxpayers). How about you?

How about we release all these low level offenders who don’t belong in prison to begin with.....

If a person could go to prison for being a fuckstick, you would be serving a life sentence with no chance for parole. :lmao::bc:

Low level offenders?  You mean offenders of the laws the liberals keep making....like how it is against the law to....smoke in a bar, not wear a seat belt, etc?  FFS, start looking at the bullshit laws that are enacted by your hero's.

Are you mad about the criminals that are not paying their wheel tax?  Or maybe the ones not putting in SOLAR on their new homes?   How about the people still using incandescent light bulbs?

Yeah... you don't see a conflict with having a prison system that locks people up at a high cost to the tax payer and then forces them to perform labor at slave wages so the prison can profit from said labor? Wow.

not force you dumb fuck . the guys want somthing to do.  it is a privlage to ha e a job on the inside .you can have no disturbance issues or you loose your job.

so no I see absolutely no issue with getting min security guys out to onsite jobs paying them min wage .of that wagr, they keep 2 bucks the state takes the rest till restitution is paid.  then they can start paying for there back child supported or what ever  ills they left behind. then the cost of work release related costs .then and only then the state can take a few more bucks out of the check to put in savings for when they get out .

i see zero issue with it and guarentee guys would be linning up for the jobs.

you get just how many in-house jobs already exist are you not? a fuck ton of call centers are in side prisons .a lot of assembly jobs.  even trades are taught and used .my wife grandfather taught masonry and stone work in a st cloud prison for 25yrs . the guys maintained the wall and buildings and walks and the waiting list to get the jobs were yrs and that was zero pay

As the Zen master said....."We'll see."

Funny how nobody complains about the companies that use these "workers" and the burden they place on the social system like they do Walmart.   You think these workers get medical or do they simply go to the ER?

What's your opinion of them being paid $3-$4 hr less than American equivalents?

Of course not, these are just little companies that are trying to hold costs of crab meat down for the local consumer.....ie good companies, not like big bad WALMART.  The hypocrisy knows no bounds in liberal utopia.

Whaaaa, the wages at McDonalds should be $15/hour

Whaaaaa, the price of crab meat is too high because there are not enough CHEAP migrant workers.

You really can't make this up.  This proves the exact point about what happens when you raise wages artificially.

Thread ender.

i'll ask again, what liberals are crying, and now being hypocritical? besides, there is a huge difference in Wal-Mart and a local restaurant depending upon cheap crab pickers. your stupidity has no bounds.

You are.

Have you not complained about wanting a higher minimum wage?

And in this thread you complained about the price of crab meat being too high.    What do you want?  High wages or low crab meat prices?  FFS you need to figure out how this utopia is going to survive on your feel good policies.  LOL

Hey dumb fuck......it’s not about the wages for crabbers....it’s about literally having people available to do the work.  Crab prices are tied to supply and demand......not hourly employees pulling pots.  You’re dumb as dirt and should STFU while you’re still behind.
