So you believe there is nothing....nothing at all for Dump to be concerned with.....it’s all because he’s the victim of a deep state witch hunt...:dunno:

Here's what I believe.

1. None of the charges to date have anything to do with Trump.   We know this is a fact.  They may have been filed to get Trump but there has been zero information factually that is the case.

2. There was deep seeded bias early into the FBI investigation as well as into Mueller's.   Again completely factual.

3. We know NOTHING claimed in the dossier on Trump has been proven.   Again this is fact not my belief.  The only thing proven is Paige talked to some people.   That is it.  Some has been even refuted factually based on Passport data.

4. The dossier was paid for by Clinton and the DNC.   This is FACT.   Not some theory.

5. We know Trump can fire Comey for any reason.   This is fact so any claims of obstruction of justice are completely bogus. (Regarding Comey's firing)  Even Comey wrote this in his letter to FBI personal.   Also hard to say OoJ when Rosenstein recommended he be canned.

6. Mueller even stated that as far as the special prosecutor is concerned at this point Trump is NOT the target of a criminal investigation.  Again, this is FACT.

7. The Dems have to take the house in order to get impeachment going on what we know as fact right now.   No way a GOP led house starts it unless much more is revealed.

8. It takes 2/3 rds vote in the Senate to convict.  That means you need 67 Senators to Impeach.   Again much more damaging information better come out or there is not a snowballs chance and hell 67 Senators vote for this.

So far there is no evidence pointing to Trump doing anything illegal especially as it pertains to the Mueller investigation.   If you have some facts to prove otherwise please post them up.  Now considering all the facts I've laid out why would I be concerned that charges will be filed or he will go down for what we currently know as fact.  I'm simply not jumping to conclusions.  Everything we FACTUALLY know right now is Trump did nothing wrong.   Everything else is assumptions.

I challenge anyone to prove anything above wrong.

When did it happen? Why did it happen? I would gather that the FBI is looking to see if it could have been a campaign contribution.

Look at the bold below, the counsellor obviously knows he made a mistake with the Stormy payment, I guess you have to make sure you handle the payments properly when there is an election campaign involved :news:

Michael Cohen, President Trump's personal attorney, said Tuesday that the FBI agents who raided his house, office and hotel room a day earlier acted professionally and courteously.

"I am unhappy to have my personal residence and office raided," Cohen told CNN in an interview. "But I will tell you that members of the FBI that conducted the search and seizure were all extremely professional, courteous and respectful. And I thanked them at the conclusion."

Cohen also called the raid "upsetting," and acknowledged that he is worried about investigators' seizures of documents and communications.

"I would be lying to you if I told that I am not," he told CNN. "Do I need this in my life? No. Do I want to be involved in this? No."

The Monday raid on Cohen's hotel room, home and office came after federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained a warrant based in part on a referral from special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The New York Times reported Tuesday that the agents who conducted the raid were searching for documents related to payments to two women — adult-film actress Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal — who have alleged they had affairs with Trump more than a decade ago.

Cohen has previously acknowledged that he paid Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, $130,000 just days before the 2016 presidential election.

He insisted in his interview with CNN on Tuesday that his payment to Daniels was legal, but also said that the raid has made him reconsider how he handled the payment.

The Monday raid infuriated Trump, who called it a "disgrace" and an "attack on our country in a true sense."

So what do you think the bold means?   It could simply mean Cohen now thinks it may have been an illegal campaign contribution.   He will get a slap on the wrist and it will go away.

Do you think Trump should be impeached if a couple of buddies did illegal campaign contributions in this manner.   Lets be clear there are some obvious grey area's here.

We all know that Mueller said Trump is not a target of a criminal investigation at this time, we also know that Mueller can't indict the POTUS.....if there will be any action against the POTUS it is up the Congress to take care of it.

Now Jr. and Kushner I think they may have issues.

The FBI was also after info on Cohen’s taxi medallions and money laundering.  It’s not just about Stormy Daniels and payoffs to porn stars or they would have just issued a subpoena and no judge would have signed off on a search warrant.

Impeachment, that's a long ways off and I don't see it happening at this point.

FTR, I think it's Trumps family and close associates who are going to take the hits.

Hold on.   Not sure that is completely true.   Its just never come up.  Reality is it was worded poorly and the SC would need to pass final ruling on it.

The closest the Constitution comes to addressing the issue is in this passage, from Article I, Section 3: “Judgment in cases of impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States: but the party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to indictment, trial, judgment and punishment, according to law.”

Cohen is just a NYC fixer who because of his association with Trump got put into the spotlight, fixers like to stay in the shadows.

I remember the outrage the forum goons had for Chicago fixer Tony Rezko, and then the delight they had when Rezko got convicted

Maybe, but I think there would be indictments already.   The fact that Mueller is taking any time to make recommendations on Cohen/Daniels makes me think its somewhat wrapping up.   I think the main delay for Mueller is whether or not Trump will talk to him.   Dershowitz thinks the same.

I honestly think he's going to try and wrap it up a couple months before the midterms.

Mueller will not indict the POTUS, he will leave it up to the Congress :bc:

Investigations like this take time, you guys all want this to happen fast...it does not work that way :bc:

BTW, Mueller has had some indictments and guilty pleas.

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has either indicted or gotten guilty pleas from 19 people and three companies so far — with most of those being announced just in the past few weeks.

That group is composed of four former Trump advisers, 13 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Five of these people have already pleaded guilty — the latest being former Trump campaign staffer Rick Gates, who signed a plea deal and committed to cooperate with Mueller’s investigation Friday.

Yes, nothing that had anything to do with Trump.   Even Flynn's and those are shaky at best.

yep and that is going to take some MAJOR bad doings from trump. so bad they just can't ignore it. this is why Mueller wants more than just a simple "collusion" accusation.
