Snoslinger Posted April 6, 2018 Share Posted April 6, 2018 (edited) whoever thought corporations were going to take their windfalls and generate jobs so that people can just stand around are complete idiots. companies are/were already "balanced" to their demand. the best way to create more jobs is create more demand, a lot of it. handing out bread crumbs to the peasants doesn't do much of that. maybe one of these days the rwws will learn this, but I have my doubts as they've had plenty of time to figure it out, yet they still believe in trickle-down. A little bit of everything. We are replacing a mill and lathe with a multi-tasking machine, and adding a second multi-tasking machine. Expanding our CAD software package to a couple nice add-ins. Renovating our stockroom and storage areas from racking to VLM's. Replacing and/or assembly tools, etc. Some was planned, some was "hey, you have x amount extra to spend this year, so think up something nice."
