  1. That's a woman? I'd need to see her snatchasurus to be convinced.
  2. Her name is actually Karen. The lord works in mysterious ways.
  3. It is usually easy to spot a panel that has been repaired and painted, beside a panel with OEM paint. If it were my truck, and some asshole keyed it, I’d want nothing but being made whole. Full paint job, please. I got rear ended by a semi, while I was stopped in traffic. He hit me so hard I got stuffed into the two vehicles in front of me. 2 year old truck in mint condition. I used that truck for my business. 401 under the 409. Bent the frame. I fought with my, yep my insurance company, because of no fault insurance, to just buy me out. No they said, we are fixing it, heat the frame and bend it back. Called a lawyer. That gave them the ability to cut off all my rehab, rental vehicles etc. They bled me dry in a matter of weeks. I had to lament. A month goes by and the body shop, a friend of the family says it’s mostly done. Take it for a week and see if it’s good, and bring it back…we’ll do the final stuff. Had it for the week, seemed good. Was going to take it back that night. Again, stopped in traffic and I got rear ended by a fully loaded cube van. 403 ramp to the QEW. The frame, where it was heated, folded faster than superman on laundry day. The box hit the cab and fucked more shit up. I lost my shit on the insurance company, knowing they were in ultimate control. Again, they said we are going to fix it and brought in a used frame. I learned a lesson from my previous interaction. Ok, that’s your prerogative. You need to put every one of my existing parts, brake lines, ball joints, shocks etc on that frame, or you replace with new. Imagine replacing an entire frame, under a 4x4 pickup. And by the way, every one of these parts you have to swap better be good, because I will keep this truck until the day I die and you will get sued if any defect causes me harm, in any way. If I get injured thanks to your shitty policy, I’ll sue you until I’m a baller. They finally bought the truck, and paid me enough to get a replacement.
  4. Not that easy on an older vehicle. Making new paint match older paint rarely works, so painting all panels is sometimes the only option. The guy is an irrational dick…but arresting him and going through the courts? If he could cut a check on the spot for all costs, would be preferable IMO, understanding the coppper ain’t a body man and just doing what the law says. Always act like you are being recorded, because you probably are.
  5. Canada’s entire auto industry generates 16 billion worth of economic activity per year. The taxpayer has now thrown 52 billion at the EV industry in just a couple years. These numbers rival that of Truth social in it’s actual worth to investors and ability to earn a dividend on said investment. Madness.
  6. Don’t forget skidoo cranks. OSHA book appears to be missing
  7. Ethical oil. Didn't fund Hamas, Putin or the attacks on Sept 11th. No one was jailed if they speak out, women are employed there and golly gee the don't have to cover every square inch...beers after work too. Lesser of two evils I suppose.
  8. But I'm saving the planet!!
  9. Conservative party got %33.7 of the vote in 2021. Trump was at %34 at one time in 2021. Don't put too much faith in the polls, there is only on that matters.
  10. Did similar in Afghanistan. Looks more like a booby trap. Why have more than one dude if it’s a suspected mine
  11. Why is he a Karen when he points out issues in our manufacturing economy? I prefer to buy parts made by my friends and neighbours, but it is becoming far more difficult to do so. I bought a used Kubota tractor a couple years ago. It’s well built, Japan is one of our solid allies and the dealer close to me had already served me well on other machines. I avoid Chinese shit as much as I can. My industry has gone down that road. It will pay the price of cheap vs quality. I see that daily. Poor quality Chinese components. At least I’m just the guy fixing it…the anger can go towards the manufacturers.
  12. See the same here. Add in rv's and trailers. Worst part IMO, is government spending in the last few years has much to blame for it and now we find ourselves powerless to control the inevitable. The piggy bank is empty and the ability to stimulate the markets isn't there. We are on track, to next year pay roughly %15 of our federal tax in interest alone, or 55 Billion dollars. I put that figure at roughly $3000 per taxpayer.
  13. I can see where this may have some validity. Trump is his own worst enemy when it comes to public relations. All he needs to do is keep his mouth shut and out of jail for 6 months. R Run on the "I'm not Joe Biden" platform and he'd have support across many demographics.
  14. TMTG's current valuation of approximately $5 billion is equivalent to about 1,220 times the loss-making company's revenue in 2023 of $4.1 million. 1,220 times the annual revenue. This in no way makes any kind of financial sense and is a legal pyramid scheme. Best be one of the first ones out...last one out turn off the lights please.
  15. The Karens of Canada would never allow that ad here.
  16. Yet Ontario announced yesterday a deal with Honda, for a battery plant. It's set to be twice the size as the deal with VW, which is set to cost the taxpayer 16 billion. FYI, Ontario isn't swimming in a big pool of extra money. We have a 10 billion dollar deficit adding on to the 400 billion dollar debt. It's madness upon craziness after lunacy.
  17. That's cheap compared to a drink at a Jay's or Leaf's game. $20 is the kinda the going rate per tall boy.
  18. I can only imagine the urine to water ratio in that general area is quite high.
  19. I put a new 9.9 Yammy 2 smoke on an old alcan tinny, that I could damn near lift with one hand. It was scary lol.
  20. Gold! I love to send these to the brother in law. I used to think he was smart. A smart person would have picked a different team to cheer for decades ago.
  21. I've had my data stolen from various breeches at banks, I think I have had free monitoring for 5 ish years. As stated above, for Canadians, Borrowell offers completely free credit reports online. I look weekly despite the free monitoring. My lack of a monthly payment, mortgage, car, sled etc, impacts to the negative.
  22. For sure. The 8 year warranty should offer piece of mind but the potential is there. Many of the newer gasser engines being squeezed hard for horsepower and efficiency are problematic and the warranty is no where near the Tesla battery. Plus one for Tesla. I'd own one if I could justify another vehicle....and would not expect my friends an neighbor to pick up part of the cost. That's my only issue with all things green, the grift.
