  1. @Bontzhow come you are deciding to go with the 5.0 if the 3.5 had plenty of power? Did you have other issues? I have a 10k toy hauler and love the way my 13 3.5 pulls. It is like a mini diesel, but I am tuned. The only engine upgrade for me in the future will be a diesel.
  2. I use thee ol rattle ball hose too. It works pretty good, but can never get the bottom of the tank well. I Zip tied a bar to it to control the hose and that helped, but it still can't rattle all the gas out. I have also used a rag to seal the tank and blew compressed air into it. That would push some more gas out.
  3. It's crazy how much lighter that rail is over a standard skid. Reading through that page, he has dropped a decent amount of weight.
  4. I have no issue with vaccines and I am glad Neal is getting one and we need people like Neal to take it. I wont be getting one anytime soon though. I will wait until the first groups go through to see how it turns out. I am a firm believer that vaccines are a lot like software. V1.0 is cool and new, but I would feel a lot more comfortable using V3.9 after they found all the flaws from the first few versions. You see it all the time that software passed testing, but as soon as it hits the masses, they will find lots of new problems. I mean just look at the 850 patriot being touted as redefining their perception on durability during testing...
  5. Has he made it very clear? Making anything not clear is the only thing Biden has guaranteed this past election cycle. Ok? So why not extend the working Americans tax cut or make them permanent instead of getting rid of them?
  6. I wonder if this is more of an issue with the 800's and their goofy coolant flow through the engine or the lack of. Probably why @racerdavesaw really no benefit on his 600. Just a guess.
  7. I am talking about primary Biden when he ran on a completely different platform than his platform against Trump. He said many times that he would eliminate the Trump tax cuts. He completely changed on what his policy would be when he was running against Trump.
  8. Because we are a world superpower and have a very strong military. Money is based totally on a belief system that we hold power. As soon as that belief is gone, than we will have some major issues. It is why 3rd world countries have shitty exchange rates to the dollar. Their government holds no power over us.
  9. Biden originally said in the primaries that he is going to get rid of the Trump Tax cuts. Which would directly increase the tax on low to middle income earners the most.
  10. I was not specifically talking about the VA. Its the entire military. I love our military and want a strong military, but damn, the way they run the budget is a disgrace. I bet we could save so much money by cleaning up the way we spend money in the military. It is very much the "I have a budget for the year, and if I don't spend it now, I wont get the budget next year". So they go and buy stupid unnecessary shit instead of just rolling that budget over. I don't know how many pallets of ammo just get absolutely wasted just because we are told if we don't use it, we wont be able to get enough next time. This is with everything. Office equipment, normal supplies, food. Everything. It is terrible. The sad thing, is that is how all government runs their budget.
  11. How much of a benefit is it to run 110f vs 120f? How far back of sleds does this benefit? I find it weird for Polaris to run more aggressive timing at 110f and install a 120f thermostat.
  12. What is taxes based on? The movement of money. How do you move more money? Decrease the cost to move that money. Finding that tricky balance of low enough taxes to move more money that produces a higher overall tax government income than just raising the taxes which could and most likely will slow down the movement of money. Also, if this thread was based on the trump tax cuts benefiting the rich. Low to middle income saw the biggest drops and specifically targeted high income earners deductions like the SALT deduction. "Americans paid almost $64 billion less in federal income taxes during the first year under the Republican tax overhaul signed into law in late 2017 by President Donald Trump, with some of the sharpest drops clustered among taxpayers earning between $25,000 and $100,000 a year, even as the overall number of refunds dropped during a turbulent tax season." https://www.marketwatch.com/story/this-is-how-much-american-workers-saved-during-the-first-year-after-trumps-tax-reform-2020-03-03 Now talking about the corporate tax cuts. What is the point of taxing corporations more if they decide to move out of the country because the cost of production is too high in this country? Sure you may make more from the ones staying here, but all the large corps are just going to leave and produce overseas and cause a lower overall taxable income.
  13. I don't think I want the government to run my healthcare after being in the military for 11 years. I don't think the government has ever heard of lean six sigma. Sure its possible it could be done, but it is most likely going to be very inefficient and very costly like almost all government run programs.
  14. Dude, I have a pair of insulated crocs. Fucking mint...Especially in the shop. Only men that are proud of their penis size rock crocs.
  15. That body style was possible the ugliest body that Polaris has ever produced.
  16. Over 22% of all US dollars were created in 2020. It will be interesting to see how the US and other countries handle the debt and inflation. This isn't just a US problem and our money is based solely on the belief that it has power. Our debt only matters if other countries think our debt matters.
  17. I ride in Wisconsin maybe once a year. I just order my registration online right before the trip before it gets mailed out so I just use my printed paper slip.
  18. I will use hand signals depending on the situation. I tend to lead a lot and ride faster than one of the groups I ride with. Normally I am riding well below my skill level to not get too far ahead and can easily throw up a hand signal to let them know more people are behind me if I am in a straight away. If I am coming up on someone in a straight away and I can't take my hand off the bars for a few seconds while meeting them, than I am probably going to fast for the current situation. Corners are a different story obviously. I will also ride in the very back of this pack as well and can easily throw up a last man hand signal in most cases. It all really depends on the situation and conditions. I have no idea what the light system is. I have never heard of it until this thread.
  19. They all did! I grew up spending a lot of time on a XLT Special with those manly purple and pink decals. I always had problems with getting the ladies panties stuck in the bogie wheels when they saw me riding dirty past them.
  20. Back when purple and all the gay colors were manly... Who decided that's the color scheme?
  21. I just put some led headlights in my sled. I would say the majority of my riding is at night and I hate not being able to see that well. Looking forward to trying them out this year. Y'all are just old saggy nutsack short trackers that wash out every corner on the trail.
