I'm guessing textron was part of it - probably cut them off for the new chassis. Unless doo or poo wanted to team up, there was nothing yamaha could do since they abandoned chassis development. Yamaha sold out their whole lineup in hours at ridiculous prices with nothing new other than stickers and then exited the market a few months later. So it's not a demand problem. Dealers were asking for more product.

States looking at charging by the mile instead of gas tax

They also get the sales tax, which is much more than when gas was cheaper. -
Anyone get $500 back from Cat recently?
Art Vandelay replied to Crnr2Crnr's topic in HCS General Forum
Lots of issues on the yamaha side as well. No idea why yamacat can't make more units and figure out how to take orders for them. -
If cat is losing money it's on textron at this point. The demand is there (and has been the past few years), they just aren't making enough units.

Who is going to riot in miami around spring break? -
Why would textron get out now, with something new actually to promote? Or does snowcross have nothing to do with the catalyst.

People are so fat in the US.

The S4 engine must come with an anchor. 100 lb penalty +/- compared to the other Poo 2 strokes. Would have liked to see the Doo 900 and the procross but they only had the sleds in their fleet. Unfortunately textcat hasn't been supporting marketing for several years now. Sounds like it may change now that they are trying again

That won't stop the dems from mandating it.

2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst 'Chassis' details?

Good to know. I can't swing one for this season. If I get a new one the year after that I might just keep it for kids to ride. -

Mine has 7200 on it. Probably worth little at this point. Probably ride it a couple more seasons. -

Shouldn't even have to say it but innovation should be consumer driven not decreed from the elites in charge. -
Trouble is they lose money on medicare and medicaid (over 50% of patients) so those with insurance or paying on their own get stuck paying for the whole system.

It's already more than half government funded. Unless you are talking about having the government own and operate it, not just fund it.

Anyone here want to admit to owning a Nytro? Good/Bad?

I always wondered if that was the nail in the coffin. They tried to make a ditch banger and it was a disaster. -
Once everyone who wants one can buy an EV, gas should be cheap for the rest of us who aren't interested in living in the zero emission utopia.

No idea how those guys made the last 1000 or so miles at their age and pulling all that weight and basically not having trails and riding through some very sketchy conditions. Very impressive.

So they are producing the catalyst engines last? -
Seems clear textron is new at this whole selling to consumers thing. Snowtech mentioned they are moving some of the corporate positions they took away from Cat back to MN so hopefully that will help.
