Melania better speaker than the Donald
So you're pro questionably criminal and give a hearty that's okay to a flagrant disregard for security for Clinton having an unsecured email server. It was in her basement wasn't it. Look at the scope and magnitude of comparison. One minor accusation of plagiarism by someone who may end up as the wife of the President versus the person who may become President saying the rules don't apply to me because I'm special.

Melania better speaker than the Donald
You really think that any politician writes their own speeches or in this case their spouse. They all have someone else write them for them. There are only so many ways you can communicate a message. If you want to deliver a message that happens to be the same message as someone else how many ways are there to rearrange those words for example when you want to talk about your values.

Canadians is this legit?
Sorry dummy but Justin's dad repatriated the Canadian Constitution in 1982. Our Constitution which was created in 1867 outlined the responsibility of power for federal and provincial government for a start. The Charter of Rights was added to the Constitution in 82 when control over changes to the Constitution was transferred from Britain to Canada as part of the repatriation

Built Ford Tough
Last weekend a guy showed up at the lake with his brand new Silverado. He had picked it up at the dealership and driven north. About 200 km. Saturday morning he went to start his new pride and joy and nothing. Not even a click, wouldn't turn over. First thought, the battery or battery cable. Checked them all and everything seemed clean and solid. Brought my trusty F150 over and tried to boost it. Nothing. Hooked up the battery charger with the 50 amp start cycle, nothing. Tow truck hauled it off to the GM dealer. You think he may have been ticked.... had to call a family member in Toronto to drive up and get him since their other vehicle was at home.

New China Transportation
What's so funny about self driving cars. They are already a reality and have logged hundreds or thousands of miles, many of them in places like Los Angeles

*** OFFICIAL ONTARIO BOATING THREAD ***
If anyone is wanting to look at boats this weekend there are two options. Gravenhurst wharf has the classic boats (gotta love those old wood boats) and Midland Town Docks have the performance power boats doing a run on Georgian Bay in support of the local hospital. They will be at the dock Friday night and Saturday morning before they head off to San Souci and other destinations. One of the people on our lake is apparently taking his centre console with 3, 300 hp outboards out for the run.

I was fired from my internship for writing a proposal for a more flexible dress code
Another shining example of the sense of entitlement the millenials seem to have bred into them. After all their whole lives they got trophies just for showing up. When at work those who own / run the business tell you what to do. A bunch of new interns are not about to tell the management how to run their business. One person asking a question is one thing but signing a petition is something totally different. Business is not a democracy. https://www.youtube.com/embed/hLpE1Pa8vvI?autoplay=1&autohide=1&showinfo=0&iv_load_policy=3&rel=0

What an absolute disaster .....
His coverage was contingent upon his employment with his previous employer as it was part of a group plan. He no longer qualified for that coverage since he was no longer an employee. A large number of our companies customers are private health care insurers and I have worked with many of their management teams. They admit that navigating what is covered and not under what conditions varies so significantly from one to another it's like speaking a foreign language.

One of the things that the province has done to try and help ease the burden of people needlessly going to the emergency room is start a program (Tele-health). You call a 1-800 number and speak to a triage nurse who would be the same type of nurse that would assess you upon arrival at the hospital and prioritize your care. The nurse will discuss your symptoms with you and ask pertinent questions over the phone. They will then give you advice on what you should do, like tell the guy with a headache to take some Tylenol rather than go to the hospital or perhaps you may be told to call for an ambulance of perhaps make an appointment with your family doctor. If you're in doubt what to do it's good to be able to get some free advice from a triage nurse.

What an absolute disaster .....
By being denied coverage for his wife since she had a pre-existing condition and when he lost is last job he lost coverage for her and now couldn't get coverage for her so his family was now spending I think he said about 45% of his income on her medication since he couldn't get coverage. Her health condition developed while he was working for the former employer.

What an absolute disaster .....
It depends on the urgency of your need. I waited 6 weeks for an initial appointment with a specialist but I wasn't about to die or suffer. If your need is urgent you go to the top of the list. When I went to the emergency room when they took out my gall bladder I walked in and collapsed on the floor in a ball of pain like I had never felt before. Next thing I know I am waking up with a doctor and nurse attending to me. It was apparently about 30 minutes later when I came to. I was in surgery that night. Another time I was waiting in emergency for a bad cut to my arm and was probably there about 2 hours. The guy they wheeled in with a heart attack and the other guy that arrived by ambulance with a huge gash in his leg from a chainsaw went before me. One draw back to the system is that you get idiots that run to a hospital for some of the stupidest things that they don't need to be there for which does slow things down. I can typically get an appointment with my family doctor within a couple of days for non urgent and he does hold a window open each day for urgent situations. Some people complain about waiting for an MRI for example to look at why they have intermittent back pain since they are prioritizing the guy who finds he can't walk.

What an absolute disaster .....
If that is the case then tell me how it was that the person who reported to me was getting screwed by the insurance company based on a pre-existing condition with his wife. Perhaps it varied from one state to another?

What an absolute disaster .....
There are parts of the U.S. health care that make me damn glad I don't live there. I have had people that I managed who were U.S. based, made a very good income and were living in next to poverty due to the U.S. health care system. One person had health coverage at his former employer as a benefit of the job but there were limits to the amount they would pay and there was a deductible. He and his family were doing okay but due to his wife's medical condition (she wasn't born with it) they were still spending about 15% of their income on medication and doctors appointments. His job was lost as part of a restructure and he came to work for us. We provided coverage that had a lower deductible and higher limits than his last employer but the insurer denied coverage for his wife as a pre-existing condition. They were now just surviving financially even though we were also paying him more than his former employer. The company health care program in the U.S. also had a requirement for an annual doctors checkup and an annual health education program that must be taken within a specific window. The education program would result in lower out of pocket premiums for the employee. One of my guys missed the education window by one week which ended up in him paying about $2K more out of pocket for his family that year. Meanwhile in Ontario I don't have a deductible on medical care, because of my income level I pay about $600 a year on my income tax for government health care and my prescriptions and dental are covered under my work plan which costs me nothing out of pocket. My dental does have a limit of $3K annually per person and I pay 10% of prescription costs. A number of years ago I went into the emergency room and spent 9 days in hospital having my gall bladder removed. Cost to me $0.

Trudeau wags his uneducated mouth, gets blasted by the British
Quoted from the article " I wonder sometimes whether foreign leaders genuinely understand what the European Union is.” I wonder if True Jet even understands Canada let alone anything else of consequence.
