I can see that in that situation. I have a cast iron griddle for the side burner on my gas grill for onions, peppers etc.

It's a griddle, why would you want to fry your steak or burger? Open flame grilling ftw, charcoal or wood if you have time. I don't get the Blackstone thing at all other than it would be awesome for making a big breakfast for a group, like a restraunt flat top.
