So im looking to try some 10 year aged cheddar from a place in Wisconsin.

Ive never had it this old before. is it really strong? Has anyone had some aged this much?

Comments?

I love sharp cheddar

Old cheddar is hard to find in the US

2 year old seems to be the oldest that is common

we regularly have up to 5 year old cheddar in the stores. I really like old cheese. It’s an acquired taste for sure.

10 would be kind of harsh. I use to like 7 year old but found it was hard to find and ruined the taste of 5 year old.

The best is when it's cut right off the wheel. I try to buy Cabot as it is a co-op of Vermont farmers. Many who allow us to use their land for snowmobile trails.

I believe the oldest Ive ever had is 4 yr.

Dude, do you just talk out of your ass?? First thing, how would you know what's common in the US?? Since you avoid coming here at all costs..

Second, there are literally 10 places 30min from Syracuse where I can get aged Cheddar over 2 years old..this place is 10-15min from my house..

FFS, kill yourself
