hwytohell
Many things have caused the paycheck to paycheck lifestyle , divorce , health care costs , personal credit card abuse, zero weekly personal paycheck savings , living way beyond a persons income levels , looming pensions bombs that can never ever be fulfilled , out of control d / r federal + state + local gubbermint spending , much higher tax burdens facing the little guy + small business person , plus fines , fee's and some much unneeded permit(s) charges, out of control higher education costs that take a lifetime or two to pay off for some very useless degrees, the rejection of parents and public schools to prepare students for the changing multi track workplace , automation , robotics , A.I. , outright rejection of skilled tradesperson jobs that is causing a huge crisis around the USA as the older tradespersons are aged out - worn out. the 30 year complete pussifacation of the young males in the schools by shoving Rx's pills down their throats because they are overly active , now destroying any chances in the future workplace , sit on your ass in mom's basement waiting for a meal + clean clothes + allowance + or pin cushion Patty FWB on the parents sticky couch that you found online, having to break a sweat and work multi jobs to get ahead , 22 hours a week is not full time job @ $15.00 dollars per hour no matter what a political hack spews, giving of yourself to a hometown cause without being a high chieftain , helping a neighbor out without expecting any reward, not respecting qualified women / non whites in different workplace settings today +in the future Just to name a few issues. Own it.

motonoggin
Blaming individuals for the failures of capitalism is gaslighting at it's most malevolent. You have to either be an evil fuck or dumb as shit to think that 4 decades of stagnant wages don't have anything to do with 78% of people living paycheck to paycheck. If there was truly a 40 year stint of stagnant wages, between the increase of cost of living, inflation, whatever PutPuthead next graph or meme is going to be, would collapse a society completely.
