Personally I don't think Trump is that great of debater.   Since the D's changed their ticket he's absolutely correct in changing the format to more of his own ground rules.   Even then she will make most of the debate about race and bigotry.   Not really a win for him to do it.

why doesn't he go to a debate and trot out his great policies for the entirety of the debate rather than acting like a fucking asshole?

I read one of his great policies is for the Biden's to take full control of all operations at textron/cat industries as soon as they vacate the White House premises.....
