Yeah but NY Harbor is kinda like the big leagues of tow boating. I am going to get a lot of great expirence in the coming year.  :bc:

Congrats man, I used to sail in NY Harbor and happened upon the annual Tugboat parade one year, the crews were all in costumes and stuff. Good times.

What kind of work scedule they have you on? I have a customer who works one dragging barges from Philliy to Richmond . 2 dudes piloting each on 2, 6 hr shifts a day  . 3 weeks on , 1 week off. for the 3 weeks on , they dont leave the boat.

we do 6's but we get equal time, 3 weeks on/off

I actually moved down to a shore town in South Jersey for the summer so it’s been awesome. Lots of beach time and I’ve been learning to surf.

I was just sailing in and out of Port Norris. Still not rebuilt feom Sandy.

I’m right between Ocean City and Atlantic City, you’d never know Sandy happened by looking around here. I think it hit the eastern coast hardest North of here.

Yesterday I went out on the beach and there were so many people out for the 4th the cell towers were getting overloaded and no one’s phones worked.
