Jackson Posted May 8 Share Posted May 8 (edited) Local H.S. principal handled a student who identified as a cat who wanted a kitty litter box in the bathroom by asking if she had her vaccination shots paperwork from the vets. She said no and asked why would she need those? He said state law required any animal on the school grounds needed to show proof in ordered to be there. Tomas. Posted May 8 Share Posted May 8 I was in scouts almost 20 years ago. It was Scouts Canada then but locally it was referred to as boy scouts. We had a girl in our troop around when we 13-14 years old. She hated girl guides because they weren't doing a lot of the fun stuff we got to do. An example was we went to a big jamboree type deal and there was target shooting with pellet guns but only if you were in scouts. The girl guides weren't allowed to participate. So she got to shoot because she was in our troop. In my opinion I don't think officially dropping the "boy" is a problem. At the end of the day it always has been and will always be the local leaders that make it break the experience for these kids regardless of corporate politics. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But, open homosexuality goes against the core values the organization stood for.... How the pendulum has swung... In my day friends were thrown out just short of becoming an Eagle Scout for smoking on a camping trip... Where was Bill when you need him?
