Pretty easy to find FBO kits for N54 from the cursory google search.  $10k for the car plus $3k for a kit installed for 500+ HP  is a decent deal.  :bc:

Spend just a bit more for a B58. More reliable and easy to make big power too. I have just a downpipe and tune for 420hp to the wheels.  My BIL is running E40 on his and is much quicker than mine.

90k miles, 50k been tuned and have not done one single repair

From $13-$15k for a premium example to $50-$60k for a premium example of 500 hp is a pretty large jump…

Id say that’s not exactly “just a bit more”.

I’m not a BMW guy at all but the 1/2/3 series all look pretty badass.

Mine was 32k 5 years ago.  You can find some for under 20k. $500 for a tune, $300 for a downpipe

My one tech just bought a 430 from a customer, for $2500, shed the #6 cylinders rings..Scooped up an eBay motor for 4k, It's got a engine tune and trans tune, high pressure fuel pump, intake, M series calipers.. it's a good running car. Gets me off the line every time

BTW, one can find a nice used 2021 Tesla S Plaid for about $72,000, it has 1020hp.  Thats $70.60/hp, a damn good value for a 200mph car that scoots 0-60 in 2.1 seconds.

What's the range?

In the US it is pretty much unlimited as electricity is everywhere.  Under 2 days to cross the entire us from coast to coast in total

280-300 on the Plaid I believe.

That's acceptable, especially in a warmer climate.

If the price of used Teslas keeps coming down an S Plaid looks pretty appealing.

I don’t know why anyone would buy it for long distance commutes.  It’s a 50 mile a day commuter.

For running errands it would be ideal...if it weren't a complete piece of shit.  I tried like hell to buy one, but drive one once and even the acceleration does nothing to make it an okay experience.  Serious piece of crap.  Perhaps they will get the next generation right...although history shows they will fuck that up too.  Either way the fanboi's will love it.
