Only VW could be impressed by Tesla's interior build design and quality.

Chalk up Toyota as well as the impressed by Tesla camp….

“Taking the skin off the (Tesla) Model Y, it was truly a work of art,” a Toyota executive told Automotive News. “It's unbelievable.”

Engineers from Japanese car giant Toyota have called the Tesla Model Y a “work of art” after tearing down an example of the electric SUV, according to overseas reports.

Tesla has done what other companies only dreamed about no doubt.

Elon is a genius . A man for the History books for sure.

Higher inflation and interest rates, in addition to the end of EV subsidies in Germany,

Musk has a 7500.00 per car advantage.

Tesla plays by the same rules as every other manufacturer….

My niece's husband had his twin motor Rivian at Thanksgiving. He took delivery 3 weeks ago. Cool red color. It weighs 7200 pounds. Same as my 4 wheel drive Transit. That MoFo is heavy.

And I'd agree, the body lines, body components, layout, technology, serviceability, probably all engineering excellence.   Plastic interior panels, seat materials, aesthetics, "everything" other than the 24 inch monitor inside the vehicle screams after-thought.  At least that is how I felt inside them.

Ya really biggest pieces of shit on the road. They make stellantis vehicles look amazing.

:roflcrying:  That is some funny shit.  Perhaps you should sit in a newer VW.  They put some cheap shit in certain places, but Stellantis is about as low as you can go...

Stellantis CEO is expressing similar reservations about the acceptance of EVs, and mentioned winds of change in the political climate, i.e. R majority who will roll back any mandates, hence slowing their projections.

I work on either brand every day both are complete junk and fall apart in short order. Although Jeep is the only brand I’ve ever seen a corporate guy come down and take the car from us (an independent shop) because the pos was so corroded with less than 20k miles lol. It’s so hard to choose both brands are so horrible.

Old VW's are absolutely shit.  A while back when they changed their build philosophy and started to share all sorts of shit with Audi/Porsche+ they changed completely.
