Again, we are discussing ideas, not people.

Baby boomers propped up their capitalist economy with 20 trillion dollars in debt, that future generations will be forced to pay.

But that's not stealing...

I agree with your general assessment of previous generations compiling unfunded mandates and liabilities at the expense of future generations.  And then they have the nerve to talk about how hard they worked and how lazy the current genersriins are. Each generation is smarter and more productive than the previous.

That's complete horseshit for a large part of the boomer generation.

So even when stealing from future generations, capitalism is inadequate for providing for human needs.

You'd think a system so perfect wouldn't need any defense at all, yet here we are, desperately defending capitalism...

Because of the infection of socialism into our free market system.   No system is perfect.

Since 1980 - what's happened to the debt, is Medicare funded, and how much has been stolen from SS?  And which generation is responsible?

our capitalistic system worked fine up until several decades ago. excessive greed is what ruined it.

Lol. As if this could've been prevented.

This is the natural progression of capitalism.

Yep - Ronnie and his ilk are the number one culprits.  They made government the enemy and believed in economic fairytales.

A democracy can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess from the public treasury.

There is a truth I heard long ago about the people of the world we call poor.

Most aren't aware they are poor until someone tells them they are.

Dude I have never supported debt being handed down to the next generation,   but still your poor is still considered wealthy by global standards.

Your ideals won't work, its that simple.

Yet, here you are, supporting and justifying massive debt and intergenerational theft.
