It has turned blue over the past few decades.

Seems its pretty even if you ask me.

Yes Biden beat Trump by more but Clinton was extremely close.

Time will tell in 2024 I guess how more Blue it is.

Clinton won the state with 47.62% of the vote, while Trump lost with 47.25%, by a 0.4% margin or by 2,736 votes. This marked the second-closest margin percentage in the presidential election, behind only Michigan and was Clinton’s closest margin of victory of any state. As of 2020, this is the most recent election in which a Republican won Carroll, Hillsborough, Rockingham, and Sullivan Counties, as well as the last time New Hampshire voted more Republican than the nation as a whole.

Who have they been sending to Washington? It was pretty much all Democrats when I left 10 years ago.  I think it's still the same. :dunno:

Yes unfortunately.

I am talking the citizens of NH.

Night and Day compared to here in CT or MA.

you missed the map I posted?

Aren't most of the blue areas on the map the bigger towns and cities?  Hell, even Carrol county has shifted as more people moved north.

I get it. Definitely more laid back, lol.

It has gotten a lot busier since I left. I hate going back home to visit friends now. The hiking trailheads are overflowing with cars. There's usually a line of cars lined up on the side of Westside Road in North Conway waiting to get into the parking lot at Diana's Bath. And that's on weekdays when I go by. Most of that ramped up during Covid and never let up.

Summer camps have become primary homes. It’s working at home that’s clogged NH, the Maine coast is the same.

As long as their are transplants from Los Angeles, California, cities like Phoenix, AZ and BozeAngeles, and Flat Lake, MT will continue to see change from housing inflation to social attitudes

Massholes relocating from greater Boston to states like New Hampshire or Maine  will feel the political attitude too...

I don't disagree.  Covid accelerated it for sure.

But the progression to a blue state is also a result of people moving north from Boston and it's suburbs.  I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with that as this is still America. Just pointing out the truth :bc:

Haha, I don't hear that term as much now that I am in this side of the Connecticut.

I've always said being a Masshole is an attitude, not where you are from. Not all of the people from MA have the "Me First!!!" attitude, but the ones that do can fuck off

The way you hound the right in here and not the left, most wouldn't believe how moderate you really are.

Well they deserve it ….lol

MAGA is not a political party it’s a terrorist group trying to eliminate our democracy. There are many here.

(Did I spell there correct?)

You’ve lost touch with reality. This administration has been a far far larger threat to democracy.  This government has weaponied itself more than any other administration in my lifetime against its political opponents. That, is the true threat to Democracy
