The mayor has been under campaign finance scrutiny before. They just couldn’t connect the dots. These mayors are asking for $5B and the White House is only offering $1.5B. Sam Friedman was the second biggest Democrat donor and other than his trial and conviction there is little investigation as to where the money went as far as campaign contributions.
