That’s not what it states. Only that with this variant you may be more susceptible than they were to prior variants, aka it could be more contagious than previous variants.

Tell me you know the difference.

Holy shit dude that is exactly what it states.

BA.2.86 may be more capable of causing infection in people who have previously had COVID-19 or who have received COVID-19 vaccines.

The rest can be discussed as well, but the first part paints a picture.

Love the use of "may" in science instead of just stating the measured uncertainty.

And Lloyd - only fools on here EVER read your links so if you want to try to make a point instead of just spazzint nonsense type it for once.

Holy shit dude, that makes no sense to interpret that way!

So the 90% of the population (or whatever it is) that’s either had Covid through infection or had the vaccine, have less immunity than someone who’s never come into contact with Covid? That’s how immunity works? Because the statement either means it’s more infectious OR the opposite of immunity (natural or vaccine)….. and you want to go with the latter?

So the CDC was being deceitful?

Yes according to them those that previously had COVID-19 or been vaccinated are more susceptible to this strain.   They couldn't make it any more clear.  Jesus dude.

No, you’re simply misreading it. You don’t get negative immunity. Or is that what you really think? 9_9

That talking point always makes me laugh.

"You got vaccinated so you can get covid easier than me because I'm unvaccinated!"

Just another brain dead make believe fantasy.

Forget the vaccine, now they think natural infection causes negative immunity.

Use your words fagden, how does the vax help?

How’s your negative immunity going? You know what that’s called? AIDS. How’s your AIDS today?

Well the vaccine never prevented infection in the first place.

You do understand that virus' mutate based off the immune systems they encounter right?  Its the natural evolution of a virus in order for it to survive.

And leaky vaccines can lead to mutations. If everyone has the exact same immune response, a single strand RNA virus always finds ways around it

That’s another thing that @akvanden absolutely freaked and spazzed to dispute but it’s simple science

he will probably still dispute it but here we are…

Oh, thanks. You started this thread talking about negative immunity in both natural infection and vaccines. Appears we’ve moved on.

We all have different immune responses, hence different outcomes in young vs old, healthy vs sick, etc.

Good luck with your negative immunity. ;)
