Everyone wants to cut spending, except when there actually is a bill to cut spending.  Why are these middle class people all of sudden against spending cuts?  Constantly deflecting and siding with democrats when they DONT want to cut spending.

You are confusing 2 different issues, middle class people will pay their debts so they don't lose their house then figure out how to cut their spending.

Oh really, better check that.  Look at 2008.  Look at CC debt now.

Yeah, them guys in washington would love that.  Magically those cuts will just disappear and you know that.  Nah, hold them to the fire.  The public agrees that we are spending too much and cuts are needed and wanted.

Yes and I guarantee the public agrees that the debt ceiling needs to be raised, and will blame the party that voted no to raising it.

Only because the media will follow the democrats lead.  We all know that the spending cuts will only happen if they are put in this bill or tied to something like it.  Think of the fed like the bankers in 2008....predatory lending at a GINORMOUS scale.  The largest scale ever.

You are so far off, but hey you do you.  Spending cuts that will save 3.2 trillion.

Don't you want spending cuts, or do you just want your baller checks from the government?  You a tweaker or something?

No way to lower taxes and tackle the debt. But your Repug party peddles the nonsense and the @racer254 of your party lap it up.  They target 11% of the the budget which is discretionary.  Consider defense, Medicare, Medicaid, and SS non-discretionary items.  Math isn’t their friend.

we can't have tax cuts due to our current, projected and previous spending... pretty simple isn't it?

but Trump cut taxes...

and Trump increased spending, debt and deficits... but hey, you got a tax break and a NICE RED HAT!!! :roflcrying:

Neither the democrats or republicans have any desire to fix the problems, that would require work and being honest with the American public.

Let's default and burn this house of cards straight to the ground...

Well if the reps.  are dumb enough to follow through and not pass the bill it will cost far more in the end, both in monetary costs and politically.

So are you worried about spending again?

Has it ever occured to you that our federal government needs to cut spending, like any time, ever?  The vast majority of the public wants the government to cut spending, why don’t they do it and you want to blame Republicans for what again?

I don't, I have always tried to save more than I spend and succeeded at that almost always.

Nope , never gonna see any cuts that way and you know it.

Yes it has and it has been promised.

The only thing and it is really simple, if the Republicans don't raise the debt ceiling, the damage caused by that action will be 100% their fault.

Probably not but it still doesn't excuse not raising the ceiling.

I doubt history will repeat itself, it's a matter of their own survival.

No problem. If the Dems take the house (and they will) the can hold up something the repukes want by insisting on a AR 15 ban.

Truly the dumbest “ independent “ ever.
