revrnd
Can someone tell me why Bernier is 'supposedly' leading the race. I cant see how his broken English and bad syntax will play outside of Quebec. Ive talked to ordinary Canadians that are French first, English second and their English is much better than many federal politicians that are supposed to be so much smarter than the rest of us. On the other hand if an English speaker butchers French it's a national scandal.

1trailmaker
Because the better candidates will wait for the next election 2023, the chances of beating Trudeau in this coming election are very low. O'leary dropped out and will now run around the country speaking like he matters, he will pick a candidate and do the talking for them. You will see soon

More cuts are good for the consumer, and businesses will flourish Simplifying the Income Tax Act by reducing taxes on all income above $15,000 and below $100,000 will mean that those earning in this range will save as much as $2,163 per year in taxes. Taxing income earned over $100,000 at 25% will keep more money in the pockets of Canadians. It is a tax cut for every single Canadian. This is the right plan. (not sure if you guys will be okay with 15k an less paying nothing - seems to go against what you all believe) sell off all airports get rid of Postal (boring_) stop carbon tax no capital gains tax would make sure you never pay tax on any of your savings. It will give our entrepreneurs access to a larger pool of capital. And it will allow every single Canadian to invest more and save more money. It is the right plan. Make us American's lol so much to chose from

scottyr
Unless things dramatically change, Justin Trudeau will win the next election. He is polling at huge approval numbers. The Conservatives will need a really strong leader to beat him.

Trudeau's timing was perfect, 3 terms?

The most recent poll results published as of Thursday April 27 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s “sunny ways” are falling flat with a growing number of voters, according to a new poll. A Forum Research poll released Thursday found Trudeau’s approval rating has fallen to 42% — a significant drop from last November when 58% of respondents gave the prime minister the thumbs up. “Justin Trudeau’s level of approval should be of concern to Liberals across the country, as the once irrepressibly popular prime minister now sees his disapproval exceed his approval,” said Forum Research president Lorne Bozinoff. “Perhaps it’s the aftermath of an unpopular budget, or just a general lack of interest that comes with the middle of a mandate, but, whatever the cause, Trudeau doesn’t seem to be connecting with Canadians right now.”

Not the 'sunshine & rainbows of the campaign' JT. The quote didn't mention the cash for access gatherings or his trip to visit the Aga Khan. Oh how did his attempt to reform the electoral process go? Lot's of his 'supporters' were truly disappointed that he failed in that respect. They'll probably go back to the NDP in 2020. Plus some of them may be fed up with his jet setting too His 'town hall meetings' didn't go exactly as planned either. Several incidents of unhappy Canadians voicing their displeasure. Loved this clip: Let's see how Canada fares in NAFTA talks. BTW, he's in Toronto to celebrate Khalsa today.

Yes it is, but in two years our economy will still be struggling and if we have another recession, Trudeau's 30 billion unnecessary deficit will double or triple and he will join the useless ranking of his incompetent father. Usedtoskidoo
Went to a Bernier Fundraiser and met him there. Yes the accent is tough and I questioned he electability with that very issue. But his policies are dead on conservative and slightly libertarian but they make a lot of sense. Oleary well thank god he is gone. Michael Chong is a liberal in disguise Leitch is unelectable in Canada Raitt voted for M103 Scheer seems about the only other guy I like. He was a blow hard and had a mean tinge to him. Tried to be Canada's Trump but he isn't as likeable as Trump is. That being said Id make him minister of finance. And anyone banging ex Hells Angels Biker whores gets my vote.
