Two people were treated for smoke inhalation, a third was taken to a local hospital. With crews at the scene, Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said that Michael Casteel ignored a police officer when he ran back into the building. According to police, he came back out and went back into the building. While inside, firefighters repeatedly told Casteel to leave. When he came back out again, police said that he was carrying two cans of Bud Ice beer.Casteel's blood alcohol content was 0.082 and was arrested for obstructing firefighters and violating the 24/7 sobriety program.

Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted April 25, 2017 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted April 25, 2017 I told firefighters I was going after our engineering computers when we had a large fire in 2001. I knew we had everything backed up offsite but I wasn't about to let the company ride on a few tape backups. They ran after me but I got to the computers first. Damn it was smokey. Needless to say they were not happy with me. Stupid but i'd do it again in a second.
