you can't believe how happy I was to be rid of this... and the 1/2" wider gap on each side of the tunnel doesn't get as much snow to the front cooler... but, definitely faster on the big end

on rock hard pack or ice... meh, maybe

on actual snow... pure trash

Yah that is not a great track but in 144” with 200+ long studs it held 260hp very well. Launch control and all

with some more length (than 128") in certain conditions, I can see that  :ok:

if I were running rail beds or lakes all day long... nah, I'd rather eat glue

name the last adult sled that came brand new with a 14"W 1" lug track though... with two or more cylinders  ;)

Here the hacksaw was shit until the sled was dangled out

I have a 128 hacksaw in the shed with about 150 miles on it if anyone wants it

Ben will take it, for when he gets into vintage shit.

Took me two years to sell mine on FB marketplace for $300... thank god for a global pandemic and a track shortage or I'd still have it!!!

with the HOT ECU or the one's consumers got?

:lol:not many people would have known it was that sled

I bought one off the floor. They were untouchable in 660’ in their class. Back in 2010 ish a buddy of mine entered a completely stock new crossfire in the drags. I beat him but barely in my 08 xp 800. And man was he coming up top hard

1-2 weeks later I went and bought a new CFR. And in 660’ it was untouchable. Especially after 500’. it just needed some minor clutching to load the engine more. It over revved too much stock

as far as I know the CFR still owns the ISR stock 800-1000 class

One hell of a fast sled.

Only stock sled that I think was arguably faster was my Mach 1000

the CFR was probably faster accelerating but that Mach 1000 had LEGS

of course I’d say my triples are faster but they’re internally modified and those twins weren’t

Never got to throw a leg over a Mach 1000 but I'm sure it would have been fun.

You have to load that engine hard. I put in 2mm oversized rollers which are around 5 grams heavier each. It only dropped the RPM about 100 rpm and if you know stuff about clutching, 5 grams per arm should kill the engine especially the way the larger geometry of the large rollers should have killed the engine but it didn’t. Just kept throwing weight at it and the rpm barely changed but man the performance sure changed

that’s the only stock sled I ever seen that happen with

speaking of the big end @ACE or @f7ben how inaccurate are Doo speedometers?

buddy hit 116 (speedo recall) on an two mile long arrow straight unplowed road while we were riding yesterday with his 23 Renny 900R. he knows it's not accurate but just how inaccurate are they?  10%?

My last doo 800 etec would hit 112 on the Speedo. It was about 103, 104 on the radar. Somewhere around 9 or 10% off is pretty close.
