Americans Are Struggling To Pay Car Loans

Recommended Posts

Not surprising considering the insane buying of vehicles at or over list and financing more than the vehicle is worth to pay off their trade in.

People are fucking stupid and finance companies seem to love giving them rope to hang themselves with.

Interwebs says the average new car price in 22 was $44,584 that’s a $854.37 a month payment for 5yrs 5.25% todays rate. I see why they can’t afford their payments lol but wait if you drag it out to a 10yr they can “afford” it

If that’s all they legitimately can afford well then that’s all they get. Everyone wants the best but most can’t really afford it.

I'd rather have a loan on something new with warranty.

Also this^. same could be said about mortgage companies before the housing crash. Borrowing way too much to people that couldn't afford it.

Wait.  You a vehicle that doesn't even have an air bag?  You ride without a helmet too?

Imagine being around such a moron as MC.

It must be painful for anyone who is.

And if one can afford it , there is nothing wrong with that.

Maybe those that defaulted originally could.

Shit happens

So you’re saying you also can’t diagnose a blown fuse 👌

Nah. I've had a few diesels without warranty over the years and it gets expensive real fast.
