Propane is fine and quicker , if you know how to grill.

Most "steak houses" that you've been to aren't cooking with smoke or charcoal. Now what, little guy :news:

Again, has nothing to do with not knowing how to grill, it's about time

true

I am going to cook some filets i had in the freezer 2 minutes a side on the stove top with some olive oil salt and pepper,  right into the over for 7 minutes,  dollop of garlic compound butter on top-  delish.

AMG makes the best brussel sprouts, you just don't know what's good for you.

If you say so, wanna be Scooter Jr.

I don't care for filet by itself

Skip the buffalo sauce and sprinkle on some S&P or Jax seasoning.  However, they stink me up something fierce.

wife likes them and the local butcher had a groupon for 8 filets so i cooked 4 like 2 months ago and had to use the rest.  for the money they charge it's not a great cut would take a ribeye anyday.

Brussels sprouts go great tossed in the garbage can.

 I hated them as a kid but am learning to like them now. I typically grill my vegetables and they can be pretty tasty when seasoned up nice.

I'd also rather have a ribeye over a filet any day.

Try them like Eatler said, but leave some bacon in with them. I'm not crazy about them, but done right they're good.

Never been there. I'm not a big fan of that neighbor hood.

What's wrong with that neighborhood? Lots of restaurants down there. And that place is one of the top 3 steak joints in the city. But $$$$ as hell!!!

I do work in that area,The Peninsula Hotel,Hancock ect. Pain in the ass to get in and out of,parking sucks, and way over priced. I can get the same food in Oakbrook or Naperville .  We don't go out for steaks,we own a 22" weber and have a great butcher by us.:barbeque:

My favorite places for steak are:

1. Mastros

2. Gibson's

3. Morton's on state

4. Gene and georgettis

In no particular order. I wasn't overly impressed with Chicago cut.
