Generally each generation is smarter, more productive, and an improvement over the previous.  The one exception might be Reagan supporting boomers.

People drank the trickled on Kool-aid and as a result deficits exploded, the middle class shrunk, American Oligarch’s became more powerful, wealth became concentrated, pensions transitioned to Roth/401K’s, and the list goes on.
