Polaris Issues Stop Ride / Stop Sale for Some Model Year 2022-2023 MATRYX RMK KHAOS and PRO Snowmobiles

Polaris has determined that under certain operating conditions, some Model Year 2022-2023 MATRYX RMK KHAOS and PRO snowmobiles may be susceptible to brake system overheating.  Brake overheating may increase the risk of a fire, posing a risk of serious injury.

Number of affected vehicles: approximately 23,600 units globally

Number of incidents: Polaris has identified 60 reports of heat/brake drag, including 14 reports of fire as a result of this concern. No reports of personal injury or property damage have been identified.

Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted units. Polaris is currently evaluating a comprehensive action plan to correct this concern at no cost to consumers and will contact affected consumers once determined. DO NOT attempt any repairs yourself.

  • I haven't seen what poo is doing in the tank that is different from AC/yami, or BRP, but it must be something to do with grounding of components that someone at poo missed, it looks like its gone acro

  • If it’s un safe you have to do a stop Sale. If you sell something that is un save you open yourself wide up to law suites

My EXT isn’t under a stop ride recall like your self igniting shit box.

Wait ... I don't own a Rush-style sled so it can't be a shit box, per your thinking.  Besides, mine's fixed (and even if it wasn't, I'd be riding it).

It doesn't take a Stop/Ride for a sled to blow up, and I stand by my earlier comment that your EXT has a better chance of going up in flames before any of the Stop/Ride Polaris sleds do.

Ride your sled brocephous. Bitching about it on the internet isn’t going to change the fact you have a Molotov cocktail for a machine.

Not only is your legal advice for shit, it appears as though your reading comprehension is worse. Not one bitch from me. Not at all. Clearly your IQ is smaller than your shoe size or some shit. Are you legitimately here talking shit and own an Arctic Cat EXT? Jesus. Save some pussy for the rest of us, will ya?

Where do you imagine the bitching and crying??I knew my kid was going still before I posted that. I couldn't care less about the recall TBH. When I get around to it I will NBD.

You on the other hand have been a snivelling lil bitch since the first Rush hit the scene in 2010.

The best part is I was proven right that the Rush was an overhyped, underperforming turd of a sled 13 years ago. Where’s Shitbird? He can pull up the posts for you.

You know how I know you’re a sniveling lil bitch? Because you make personal attacks over the internet. Quite the internet tough guy! :lol2:

Here, let me finish what you meant to say

To quote one of my good friends. :bc:

Quote

I was told 300 in front of me! I’ve ridden it 3300 trouble free miles, gonna keep riding it! In reality, since 09 or whatever the recall goes back to, 16 vehicles have caught fire. Ride it!

The Rush never won, it didn’t even finish in ‘10. :lol2:

The Rush Switchback won in ‘11 because team TNT burned down at a fuel stop.

Have explosions even been recorded on older model years? Or do they have no clue why it's happening and including them in the recall because nothing has really changed since then.

And also depending your state they deff can take you to court and suck up years worth of litigation, if some one gets hurt, and insurance companies get involved. Winning or losing is hard to say. Costing them money is a guarantee.

2015 the race was won on Indy’s, what? Yep, not the vaunted terrain dominator. In 2010 when zero fucking Rush’s finished the race it was won by a team running IQ Dragon 600’s. 2019 was won on Pro-CC Indy’s.

So, to sum it up, a Rush Switchback team won in ‘11 because Tyler & Tison caught fire at a fuel stop. 2018 was won on Axys baler.

Oh boy retard fight about to happen

I was talking about sled brands, IDGAS about the Rush. The Rush was a stepping stone to "ONE" of the best>>>>>>>>>>> "trail riding"<<<<<<<<<<< sleds ever built >>>>>>>> the Pro S <<<<<<<<<  >>>>>>>>and the Axys XC I have not been on the new Polaris VR1 or what ever its called.

Now bring yourself down to earth you or me will never ride in the ID nor will we ever ride that hard, at my age I do not want to ride that hard anymore. I have ridden just about everything out there and Polaris as of now for me is the best ridding sled out there.

Kid your not racing anyone so stop pulling this shit out of your ass, racing is not riding and what 99% of the guys out there do, is ride.

This recall reminds me of the January 6th insurrection, its alot about nothing. :thumb:

I love it ... Alaskan Karen 440 is all worked up over the bailer's success in the Iron Douche - his race that sets the standard for all races.  Hey dipshit, tell us again what model won the 2015 race :roflcrying:

Medina, Minn. – In the ultimate demonstration of Polaris Terrain Domination, Polaris cross country snowmobile racers Scott Faeo and Eric Quam won the Iron Dog race across Alaska on Saturday, Feb. 28, on a pair of 2015 600 Switchback Pro-S models built on the innovative AXYS platform.

And, just for good measure and to see Alaskan Karen come even further unglued ... here's the 2014 results to go along with the above 2015 results:lol2:

Medina, Minn. – Polaris racers Todd Minnick and Nick Olstad won the grueling Iron Dog cross-country snowmobile race across Alaska on Saturday, Feb. 22, on a pair of 600 Switchback Pro-R snowmobiles. In the ultimate display of Polaris Terrain Domination, the pair completed the 2,031-mile race across punishing Alaskan landscapes in trouble-free fashion aboard durable, dependable Polaris sleds.

did it light on fire? :news:

let's see... negative F temps, hard conditions, obviously not broken in with 12 miles... looks like a Riot maybe with the gray accents?

shall we discuss the unmatched durability 2019 Polaris 850 being that this is a Polaris thread?

https://www.indyspecialty.com/product-page/2019-polaris-850-updates

then there's always those highly popular titanium wrist pins?

We could start a Cat's on fire thread, the list would be very long.
