Prepare For More “Russian” Pipeline Sabotage

It was, they had to get new conscripts trained and new weapons. Russia took and held the entire Donbass with 200k troops. Now that Russia is ramping up its going to be a blood bath on a historical level.

Ukraine should have taken the peace deal and life would have gone on for everybody. Now everybody is going to die, the ones that are left anyway.

If the Ukrainians can cut off the rail lines Russia is in trouble.  If the Russians could not beat the Ukrainians with 200k of their best front line troops what makes you think another 200k of draft dodgers and old men will make a difference?  At the rate the Russians are losing equipment they will be making their final charges on horse back.

The Swedes Gotlib class sub makes less noise than half of our Nuke sub fleet and was designed to sit on the bottom.  Those pipes are pretty heavy gauge so you would need more than a fire cracker to split one open.

The pipes are infused in concrete. The thing about underwater detonation is the water itself acts as a containment barrier. It intensifies the blast.

Dude, Russia has not attacked any (or very little) Ukrainian infrastructure during this entire endeavor. Once they do life in Ukraine is going to be non existent. take out the power, water, rail, ports, bridges, etc... Ukraine is done. they should stop now.

they should make a peace deal and as part of it require Russia to pay for the rebuilding of Ukraine.

You are confusing Russia's military capabilities with that of the US.  Russia has almost no airpower in play and what they have used is little more than air artillery. They have limited precision weapons and as every day goes by they get pushed further away from Ukraine's infrastructure.  The Russian bridge from main land Russia to Crimea is a particular weakness for the Russians as is the rail lines on Ukraine's eastern  border near Troitske.  How are the Russians going to move all these new troops and equipment into Ukraine with all these choke points?  Russia still has to protect it's border against all the other countries it has angered.  And worst of all Putin is losing his propaganda war at home.  Everyday the battle lines get shorter for Ukraine and their forward movement persists.  Putin wanted a land bridge but from where he sits now he would be lucky to keep Crimea come spring let alone his seat of power.

My family lawyers son is a captain in the merchant marine. He was in the Black sea working on a oil rig test drilling deployment. He said that nearly every hole they drilled came up with oil.  In ten years Ukraine could be a huge oil producer with many western client's.

That’s one of two reasons why Vlad is priming on the east side of Ukraine. He wants the natural resources and doesn’t want an independent Ukraine that’s in charge of its own destiny like Poland. He wants to keep every country in the old Soviet block as backwards as his country.

So Ukraine (NATO because if Russia doesn't have these capabilities Ukraine certainly doesn't have them) would choose to destroy the rest of their country than let them be as they choose? I gotta tell you, Russia does not sound like the villain here.

The Ukrainians don't have much in the way of weapons as they are a ex soviet block country but they have trained soldiers as they have been training with NATO forces for almost ten years now.  They have been very clever and opportunistic  in their pursuit of this war where as Russia is running a play book from WWI.  Russia has been carving up southern Ukraine for ten years so my sympathy is low for their current plight.  I don't see how the world would have been better served by having a puppet government in Kyiv of Russia's choosing.  What did Biden's guy say at the UN? If Ukraine stops fighting Ukraine no longer exists if Russia stops fighting the war is over.  Simple have Russian troops pick up it's dead bodies on it's way back to the mother land and keep all the Russian transplants in Crimea who fled back to the home land.

Putin is faced with an interesting decision. Rush in 300,000 untrained morons and hope to stem the tide of his losses, or eat more devastating losses and send in better trained troops next year. This is a reply of McNamara’s morons during the Vietnam era. Ugly stuff for the Russians. Just getting thrown into the sawmill.

Does Putin have a year?  Unrest at home and heavy loses of man and material. by spring the Ukrainians could have most of Russia's troops pushed back to the border in most places.

Ukrainians are a vicious bunch. It’s damn impressive. It really does show the importance of fighting and sacrificing for one’s country. That’s something that has been forgotten in these woke times. They are not backing down. As the old saying goes….give me liberty or give me death. Refreshing to see.
