The world is full of stupid "smart" people like Kneel.  They usually throw around terms like "Dr." when all they did was study political science for 10 years.  Another give away is a long list of acronyms after their name on their Linked In profiles.

My project manager at work has a whole string of shit behind his name.

Unfortunately, he is a corporate level asshole, so I can't get rid of him, yet I manage him.

We have more than enough Beef and Pork in Canada and the US to fend for ourselves on our own. It's the rest of the world that needs to worry.

Cattle futures are up that's because the big box grocery store chains are biding on their super chill beef programs for the holidays, they are about 1 month early this year. The daily Beef market is shown to be very toppy with some down markets in the middle meats. Turkeys are in terrible shape due to the spring avian flu, now the worries will be, will the avian flu return with the fall migration just in time for Thanksgiving.

I would like to hear @HSR take on the beef markets if he can stay on topic.

A friendo bought me a $50 dollar steak and balls of yarn that was by far the best steak I ever had. I mean I know how to season a steak but I can't make it like that

after the restaurant owner talked to us and told him that's the best steak I've ever had. Guess his supplier guarantees the meat and if anyone complains about it being tough the supplier reimburses him the menu price. Guess I can't compete with that with my steak from extra foods

Any supplier worth their sweat has to guarantee their meat and all their other products, he's got a good supplier.

Another thing that people overlook is that while pounds of consumption have trended upwards over the past decades, consumption per capita has decreased.  We are increasing population faster than beef supply is increasing.  “Have plenty” might be a bit loaded, as we have consumed more per head in the past.  We have enough to fit the grocery budget is what seems to be.
