While we are breaking down the underpinnings of TDS let's look at one of the symptoms.  Cuomo was heralded as a Hero in the war against Trump by Democrats and the media on a daily basis. His daily press conference was for a time the epicenter of the war on Trump.   Talk of Cuomo running for president were on the tongs of left leaning pundits on every outlet. Now it is clear that Cuomo took money from the nursing home industry so that they could increase their profits from the pandemic at the expense of the elderly in long term care in the facilities. Even though large hospital ships were made available and resources from the military Cuomo decided that his political contributors were more important than just concerning himself with the well being of his citizens. The true number of deaths is not known but suffice 10,000 is a safe starting point.

I think Cuomo is a different story as he was not making policy for national defense but rather policy to enrich himself and his supporters. I think it is realistic to think a gov could be held accountable it has been done before in other states.

Remember when Democrats seized several blocks of the Capitol Hill neighborhood in downtown Seattle, declaring it an autonomous zone? Remember the guns and deaths and utter destruction? We were told, "It's a block party atmosphere."

 

Remember when a crazed mob gathered after the Republican National Convention and attacked Rand Paul, a sitting U.S. Senator? We were told, "No justice, no peace." 

 

Remember how police were told to stand down, governors refused to call in the national guard, and Democrats paid bail for violent protesters who were arrested? We were told, "This is the only way oppressed people can be heard."Remember in 2011 when tens of thousands of Democrats surged on the Wisconsin Capitol building in Madison and physically occupied it for more than two weeks?
