He said every Deere dealer bid prices so high the farmers walked on many pieces. They said they needed inventory at their dealerships. Kind of ironic that not all that long ago (10 years ago or so), dealers couldn't wait to huck anything that was 15-20+ years old they had on consignment auctions or just outright sell it to exporters to get it off their lots.
