Mainecat
Every employer would like to replace 10-15 percent of their employees who suck BUT have a hard time finding replacements.

F3600
When almost 50% were paying no Fed income tax one had to see this coming on the horizon. Followed with the push for guaranteed basic incomes. We're well on the way to a whole nation of lay-abouts. Covid needs to try harder. One is a retired union brick layer that has a healthy pension. He just needed something to do and his body can’t the rigors of his trade. He’s working at a local company that manufactures a lot of parts for John Deere. He’s blown away by the shear laziness of the younger set and how much time they spend on their phones. They stick around long enough to get their sign on bonus and then they’re gone.

They show up everyday and do their part. They can also pass a drug test.

Especially those that retired early (under 60) in white/gray color industries. Why? The school systems, colleges (and parents) really aren’t putting out desirable candidates anymore.
