If delta was more contagious why did delta quickly go away in India. India which has a very low vaccination rate especially during the delta outbreak. Only 14% of India is fully vaccinated while 66% of the United States is. India has a population of 1.366 billion. Yet they have 200k fewer deaths and 20 million fewer cases. Again if delta is so bad and vaccines are the answer why didn’t delta ravage india? Delta came from There so it should’ve been its most deadly there. Of the people I’ve known who got C19 and then got vaccinated, outside of 24 hours of general crappy feeling for some, none had adverse effects, definitely not death inducing.
