With no fucking means testing either, that wasn't part of the deal when you stole my money. Democrats "Ideas so good they have to be mandatory" Absolutely! Now, imagine them allowing an “opt out” option. Then, think of all who can’t make even a decent financial decision even if they see it works in their favor. Disaster. My biggest problem is, why do those of us who do or, at least try, to make good decisions constantly having to bail out those that either cannot (somewhat excusable) or, will not even try? Social security has turned into a pile of money to be looted by grifters and blood sucking joos just like every other govt program.

Opt out would have been my choice as well. I would rather have invested that money on my own, than have an inept govt entity tell me I may or may not receive any of it back at a future date. As it is I don't factor it in to my retirement income anyway. If I do get any of it I'll blow it on hookers and Viagra......

As for the person I quoted, i took it as they wished Covid would have wiped out many more elderly, making Social Security more solvent so that they will collect it in their retirement years. In a nutshell, anyone that wishes me dead, right back at ya. I won’t shed a tear.
