Conservatives believe that these people have some type of conscience or moral high ground that would make them feel some type of guilt about their unethical tactics. The elites on the left running the show do not have a moral or ethical high ground. They know conservatives have that and specifically target that as a weak point to gain a political advantage. Look at the posts in this forum. When a post is proven to be a flat out lie, how many liberals/dems on this site come back and acknowledge it vs conservatives/republicans?
