jtssrx
Infections isn’t the measure. Hospitalizations and deaths is the measurement that we should be concerned with. It’s clear this was never about Covid it was never about people dying being hospitalized or even getting infected
Rod
It’s simple. Fear sells. I mean look how addicted the beta left is of this cold
Mainecat
1000 Americans are dying every day. The same daily total as WWII.

Platinum Contributing Member Blackstar Posted October 27, 2020 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted October 27, 2020 If the survival rate for someone 70+ is 94.6% then wouldn't that mean the infected death rate is 5.4%? Covid math is so confusing.

Also making the point living your life as you normally would is more dangerous than covid First it’s not true. Every model that predicted millions would die fully factored in social distancing and shelter in place rules. Second the reason the flu is worse in the winter and why you see covid cases going up is people are in close quarters. It masks worked we never needed to Do any of this. Well we see masks don’t work. The only people that should’ve ever sheltered in place in quarantine were people who were at risk instead governors and democrat states jam sick people into their nursing homes. Effectively raising the death totals artificially

Less drivers =less car accidents = less deaths. Everyone must stop driving, your trip to the store I’d deemed nonessential.
jtssrx
1 hour ago, Tinker said: Less infection = less hospitalization = less death So simple No it’s not that simple!! We don’t stop our lives to stop infections period!! Also it’s been proven now Stopping our lives doesn’t stop infection. In fact Sweden proved if you don’t stop your life and let the virus run its course it goes away on its own. People flat out aren’t dying of covid in Sweden anymore. Here in Michigan deaths are ticking up why is that? I mean if your ideas on covid are correct why are cases and deaths increasing?
Tinker
Sweden ? They're having a huge surge the last few weeks and the Gov't has introduced new restrictions.
Platinum Contributing Member Skidooski Posted October 27, 2020 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted October 27, 2020 So Whitmer quietly changed her position on sending Covid positive patients into nursing homes...finally. A third of our deaths for months on end
