Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine said Monday he was saddened by the “senseless act of gun violence” at Ohio State University, even though the attacker used a butcher knife and a car.

Can you not see the narrative being pushed by the left or do you choose to pretend it isn't there? Why does he have to add "senseless act of gun violence" to a condolences?

* Key some dumb fucking goal post shift *

Allow me to assuage your butthurt with a little piece Newsweek had on the presses ready to go to print:

On Election Day, Americans across the country roundly rejected the kind of fear- and hate-based conservatism peddled by Donald Trump and elected the first woman in U.S. history to the presidency. The culminating election of a career in politics spanning three decades and arguably more experience than any other incoming president, 2016’s was not an easy race to watch, comment on or be a part of—but when the dust cleared it revealed a priceless moment in American history. The highest glass ceiling in the Western world had finally shattered.

because at the time he thought it was just that? :dunno: or do you think anytime someone uses the words "senseless act" of something they're pushing some BS narrative?

not sure wtf that has to do with the topic, but trump has jumped to conclusions and gone public with them many times, even before the press chimed in, w/in the last year alone. yet you want to chastise kaine for jumping to something that nearly everyone in America did, based on all reports at the time? gmafb.

Sure Slinger. Shift the posts for them. Good, good, good. Do we need to pull up tweets from the past 5 years of Democrats jumping up and down with joy over gun violence on campuses and around the country as they say, "SEE TOLD YOU GUNS ARE BAD"?

But yeah, probably didn't have a full picture... Funny, he would have if his girl didn't botch that election. Sucks when he has to get his briefings from CNN and not Homeland Security and the FBI, eh?

this is where common sense SHOULD kick in, but often doesn't. do you really think he was trying to "pull one over" on people, like they wouldn't find out or......

was he thinking a gun was involved, as reported by many media outlets during the day?

The initial news reports stated there was gunfire, which is correct but it was police gunfire that people heard which was reported later when everything got sorted out.

That isn't the issue... No one is doubting that timeline of events. Why is a man of his stature commenting without the facts in a manner in which points to something that in the end isn't true? Unless of course we are ok with our officials jumping the gun (no pun intended) in things such as this? During this might I add, all the major news networks were saying there were rumors and some witnesses claiming to have heard gunfire and an active shooter. No news source had definitively reported that their was a shooter. Why should someone who was to be VP do so? But all that does not matter, which makes it all the better because he sent the tweet out well after it was determined it was a knife, so we go all the way back around to the fact that their is a narrative being pushed by those on the left that is dangerously using fear based reactions to their benefits.

Cue Detective Slinger to say, "BUT BUT BUT The right uses fear too...".

Can we agree he should have at least waited until the facts came out before jumping to conclusions? :dunno: In retrospect it makes him look kinda foolish IMO.
