I don't think I have seen any Asians here in town in the 6 years that we've been here in northern Vermont. in NH we would see the occasional Asian family. They were families too. It was usually one or two mini vans packed with people. If they rented canoes they thought they could load them up like their cars and only wanted 2 or 3 canoes for 10-15 people (kids included).
